About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded, and relationship-focused Key Account Executive to join our team. This newly created role will support our Senior Account Manager in developing and maintaining some of our largest and most strategic accounts, including major corporate and defense organisations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring commercial accuracy, and identifying opportunities to expand existing and potential partnerships. This position suits a motivated experienced account
professional who enjoys client engagement, understands commercial drivers, and thrives in a structured, performance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Account Manager in the day-to-day management of key strategic accounts.
- Assist and prepare accurate quotations, pricing schedules, proposals, and customer documentation.
- Proactively engage with customers to manage enquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor account performance, service levels, and delivery outcomes in collaboration with operations.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing and potential accounts and escalate or progress as appropriate.
- Assist with contract administration, tender submissions, and account reporting.
- Maintain accurate customer data, pricing structures, and reporting within SAP and internal systems.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to revenue growth by supporting cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-8 years’ experience in account management, ideally within engineering or defence sectors
- Proven ability to proactively identify and develop commercial opportunities.
- Demonstrated career stability with long-term tenure in previous positions.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand pricing, margin, and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated experience preparing accurate quotations and proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical capability.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
